William Cochran - Best Sow The following men were appointed judges by the society; Mr. James Jenkins, Mr. John Parker, for Windsor; Mr. John Chambers, Mr. Archibald Smith for Newport, and John Elder for Falmouth. These judges awarded prizes to John Allison of Newport
for best fat ox; to William Brown of Newport for the best pair of working oxen;
William Weir of Newport for the second best pair; to John Clarke of Windsor for
best bull; to William Brown of Newport for the second best bull; to Andrew Inglis
of Windsor for the best milch cow; to John Allison of Newport for the second best
and for the best ram; to John Parker of Windsor for the best boar; to Charles
Leyton of Falmouth for the second best boar; to the Rev. Dr. Cochran of Windsor
