We want to extend our archive and our knowledge
of African-Nova Scotian Ice Hockey Teams
and African-Canadian Hockey History in general.
Any assistance you can give us would be appreciated.

We are presently working on creating a section on
African-Canadian Hockey History.

NOTE :

1900 - Nova Scotia had the First "'Black' Hockey League in World" - "Coloured" Hockey League of the Maritimes
operated for two decades, 1900-1920.

1900 - The first time "Goal Keepers were allowed down on the ice
to stop the puck" were the African-Nova Scotians
of our "Coloured" Hockey League of the Maritimes.
This practice was not allowed in NHL until 1917.

for other "Nova Scotian Firsts", see the Origins section.
