The
Belcher Map shows the lagacy of dyked rivers, tilled fields, orchards, etc., left
behind by the unfortunate Acadians.
The William Anson Map from Haliburtons
"History" shows how the new inhabitants, Rhode Island, Irish, etc. settlers
had added to the town by 1820.
