King’s Collegiate School Boys Hockey Team – 1908

Back: H. W. Binney (Goal), A.G. Lawson, (R. W.),

H. Wilcox (Rover), T. K. Young (L.W.)

Front: H.B. Rothwell (Point), F. S. Dupuy (Cover Point/Capt.),

W. L. Conner (Centre)

Note that the Goal Tender is the only player wearing shin guards

and that he uses an ordinary stick. No player has gloves except Lawson
who wears ordinary leather gauntlets. Padded gloves were

just then becoming common (1904).
